Telling someone to suppress their sexuality is like telling them to suppress their handedness. Trying to correct left-handedness has positive correlations with the development of speech impediments and learning disabilities. Since sexual orientation change and concealment efforts clearly cause harm, I can’t understand how some people still advocate for them.
