All those “Christians” that are mean and go to church are fake Christians. Don’t hate Christianity because of what those hypocrites have done. God didn’t do it to you, they did. It’s not fair to blame the religion for something a few bad peop…

I have seen so many iterations of this sentiment. It's often used as a way to justify having hateful beliefs and dismissing any harm that comes from them as mere byproducts.
