As an Asian-American myself, I came away with some mixed feelings.

First off, I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to be Black in America wondering why Black people are still unfairly targeted in this day and age. That level of being kicked while you're down is not something I'll ever pretend to understand on a personal level.

I think your overarching message has been lost by certain readers as indicated by the string of responses that are accusing you of racism. Your original intent might have been more along the lines of "White people, you can use your privilege to dismantle the racist structures that previous generations have built and to build better, anti-racist structures in their place." rather than "All white people are awful.".

With that said, the initial defensive response is often the start of someone caring about race-related issues. At least, that was the case for me.
