Are those the people who said “Love is an afterthought?”

The United Methodist Church — famously progressive, staunchly a supporter of social justice, dignity, and love — told us LGBTQ people that we don’t matter. They don’t care about our humanity, equality, and worth. They can’t bother to love us and respect us.
